Tech Transfer specializes in compressor packages used for gas gathering, pipelines, storage, offshore platforms, FPSO gas lift applications and other specialized facets of the industry. Our package designs range in capacity and size from 500 to 8,200 brake horsepower, with some units weighing more than 350 tons. The designs are completed by members of our skilled team, who have diverse backgrounds with compressor manufacturers, packagers, engineering contractors, pipeline operators and major oil companies.

Package Design & Analysis

Our services include component selections, package general arrangements, skid design, structural analysis, piping analysis and acoustical pulsation analysis. In addition, we complete concrete foundations as well as piling systems design and analysis. Tech Transfer specializes in compressor packages used for gas gathering, pipelines, storage, offshore platforms, and FPSOs. Field Vibration Analysis

For over 25 years, Tech Transfer has provided accurate and reliable field vibration analysis of reciprocating compressor packages. Tech Transfer’s field data acquisition includes vibration readings, dynamic pulsation readings, ODS readings and natural frequency bump tests. Our field vibration techniques and computer analysis methods result in effective solutions to vibration problems and minimized down time.

Offshore Experience

Tech Transfer has been involved in the successful design and installation of more than 250 reciprocating compressor packages on offshore platforms and over 40 compressor modules on FPSO ships. Our deck dynamic analysis results match field vibration and pulsation data.
